That is an excellent place to hide out, somewhat on the order of the porch at Island House. I'll bet there are a lot more books there, and a lot fewer people who know your name. Always tradeoffs. Still, a truly excellent place.
I love libraries. And a library with a view is priceless!
Gerry, it is as close as I can get to the porch, which is the corner office I want the most. Yes on both counts: more books, less people who know me -- blessings for a writer. Missing is the sudden bolt of blue silk: the bay, and the wavy antique glass. Still, I love my corner office and feel grateful to have such a wonderful place to work and learn.
