Okay, Scratch That

When I complained about January yesterday, I had not yet heard the terrible news about the shootings in Arizona.

I never know what to say when terrible things happen.  I go straight to Wendell Berry's The Peace of Wild Things, and let other, wiser people say things.

Gerry did a nice job of it.  She comments here from time to time, and has the greatest stories.  She says: "That is not how we have agreed to do things in this country."  She says:  "Resist fear."

Since I can't say anything better or wiser, I won't.  But here's a link to the rest of what Gerry said if you'd like to read it.
