I'm glad it wasn't your book. If it will make you feel better, I will check it out this summer and read it, so long as I can sit on the library's porch while I do it. Wow... I wish I had a nap size resting drawer :).

Sandy, always comforting to know I'm not alone in my small faults and quirks. I'm sure your P&W will be in today's mail.

Stephanie, some days I believe it more than others, but I keep telling myself: only I can write my poems. And, of course, you yours. And so on down the line. Go Poets!

Thank you all for reading.Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03597990526818589453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357502225394324130.post-36697964713548630392011-02-23T20:57:34.009-08:002011-02-23T20:57:34.009-08:00I love the attention paid to the fact that no one ...I love the attention paid to the fact that no one has written your poems yet.Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07770840645353569334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357502225394324130.post-23103233399724878452011-02-23T15:35:33.500-08:002011-02-23T15:35:33.500-08:00Thanks for the description of the process. Sorry ...Thanks for the description of the process. Sorry it was hard today. I completely understand about sometimes feeling rushed and skipping important steps. I'm intrigued by the descriptions of the two poems!

I haven't gotten my P&W yet. I go through the same cycle as well.Sandy Longhornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04735445958970512617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357502225394324130.post-31758319265441022562011-02-23T15:20:50.612-08:002011-02-23T15:20:50.612-08:00Well that makes me feel better. I went to the library today and ran across a little book that struck me as, well, having already done what I'm trying to do, which is upsetting enough, but then on top of it . . . no one had ever taken the little book out. So then I sat down in the library and gave it a good look and decided that, well, no, it wasn't "my" book and I'm going to keep on with that, but I'm still depressed that no one ever took it out. I'll get over it. I'm going to go take a nap in my resting drawer.Gerryhttp://torchlakeviews.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
